And here we bring you an exclusive interview with the rising star to speak about the new video, new music, future plans and much, much more;

Growing up who/what inspired your love of music?
I’ve always felt an incredibly strong connection with music. It has always created a safe space for me, and allowed me to escape reality, even just for a moment. When I started to create my own music, I became completely enveloped into that world, and have used that creative ability to set the tone for my life.

Who are your all time musical heroes?
I have so many musicians and artists that I look up to, but if I had to name a few, I’d say, my hometown girl, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Jessie J, and Adele. Christina and I went to the same high school, and went through a lot of the same trauma of bullying growing up, as well as troubles at home. Her album, ‘Stripped’, is a complete masterpiece. Every artist I’ve mentioned above uses their true voice to express their pain and the happiness through their music. You can hear it on the tracks, and during their live performances. That raw tone is something you can’t learn– it comes from the strength you’ve built from negative experiences in your life.

If you could collaborate with anyone who would you choose?
I would love to collaborate with any of the ladies I’ve mentioned above, and also, hands-down, Nicki Minaj. I love her tone and her confidence. That’s something I definitely vibe with.

What is the main inspiration behind your new single ‘Lost With You’?
For “Lost With You,” the inspiration came from one person, who shall remain nameless. Although we don’t talk anymore, for that ‘moment’ in time, it was everything. So many people are afraid to open up, to try something new, or to give someone a chance. I could sense that about this person, but there was still some magic there, nonetheless. It’s about letting your guard down and letting someone in–to be carefree, even if just for that moment in time. Overall, this song is about human connection. I wanted to put a new twist on intimacy and redefine the meaning of touch.

Can you talk us through the treatment for your new music video?
I remember taking a quick trip to Malibu, to visit Point Dume, during the week I was writing and planning to record the track, and having an epiphany at that Cliffside location. I realized that was the perfect location to visually express the meaning of the song. I didn’t want anything hyper sexual as my first video because I wanted the essence of what I am saying to carry through to everyone. I also wanted the video to be a step out of real life, in a sense. Allowing the idea of fantasy to evolve.

Do you have any plans to release an album soon?
For the next few tracks, I plan to release them as singles. I absolutely have an album in mind for the future, but I’m not giving anything about that away right now. I want to do singles at first because they each have such a story of their own. I think it’s best allow them to stand alone to tell their own story.

Can fans expect to see you on tour in the near future?
Next year I will be doing live shows, which I am beyond excited for! I want to wrap this year up with recording new material and writing. The creative process is so important to me, and I like to take my time to really think things through and make it the best it can be.

What do you hope to achieve over the next ten years?
I want to do something legendary, to create something great, and to make a true change in the world. I want to inspire people to be inspired, to motivate them, and to save the ones that need to be saved through music. Giving the gift of music to others makes me so happy. I never want my shows to merely be about coming to watch me sing… but for them to be about us as people, coming together and feeling the energy in the venue. That’s what music and art are about. The freedom of expression and interpretation is what make art so beautiful. We are all meant to do great things; it’s just about getting out there and doing them. <3
