Chelsea Manning (born December 17, 1987) is a formal soldier of the United State Of America, who was court-martialed for violating and leaking around 700000 to 800000 documents and classified to WikiLeaks.This also includes information about the Air Strike of Baghdad in 2007 and the Garnai airstrike, Iraq war logs, Afghan war diaries, and diplomatic cables.

The US government was very angry when these intelligence documents went public. In 2013, Chelsea was sentenced to 35 years. However, his sentence was commuted by then-President Barack Obama. Manning was then able to come out of jail in May 2017 after completing the remaining sentence.

In 2018, he was directed to appear in court and testify in the case involving Assange (founder of WikiLeaks). However, she refused to obey the order, after which she was put back in jail in Feb 2019.

Chelsea Manning was born as a boy with the original name Bradley Edward Manning on December  17, 1987, in Crescent, Oklahoma, the U.S.His mother Susan Fox and father Brian Manning were Manning in United States Navy. He has one older sister Casey Manning was a caretaker for him because his parents were alcoholics. Chelsea Manning was 35 years old as of 2022.

Manning was an omniscient and talented boy in the computer from his childhood. He attended Tasker Milward Secondary School. But his family did not support him after he admitted in 2000,  that he was gay.

Knowing this fact his parents separated from each other and his mother moved to Wales with her son. But Manning returned to his father and lived with his stepmother and father in 2005. He graduated from intelligence school at Fort Huachuca in Arizona

Manning after returning to his father working in a software company. Where he performs over the expectation but his behavior makes his co-worker difficult to communicate with him. So, he was expelled by his Boss from his job. Due to the loss of his job, his stepmother let him out of the house.

Then he moved to his Paternal Uncle and joined the army because of his father and serving his country. He thought that his desire to live like a woman will be finished in the army atmosphere. Controversy

He was posted in Iraq where he leaked a video in which a helicopter was firing at unarmed people to WikiLeaks. He was contacted by Adran Lamo a formal hacker in May 2010 and confessed that he leaked lakhs of the document to WikiLeaks. Lamo gave this information indirectly to the intelligence department and was court-martialed in July 2013. He was found guilty in more than dozens of accusations it also includes serious accusations like helping the enemy.

In August 2013 he gets imprisonment for 35 years and he also releases a statement in some media person that he is Transgender and wants to apply for the petition with the new name Chelsea Manning. She is female and wants hormonal therapy. From April 2014,  she is legally recognized as a Female the army provides her hormonal therapy.

During the presidency of Barack Obama, 117,000  people signed a petition for reducing her imprisonment. She was free from her imprisonment in May 2017. In April 2018 court directs her to testify about her statement after Assange was arrested but Chelsea refused to give any other answer about WikiLeaks. After the refusal, she was sent back to jail on March 2020.
